I need to accept Gizzie’s behavior, for instance, and understand he needs to be comfortable. This new plush chair is too warm for his old joints. He still eats and associates with people. He does what he can. This is why he goes to our old leatherette chair in the other room. It’s cool and comfortable and he can stretch out.

It takes Mommy awhile to actually figure these things out.

 As has been the case for 16+ years, Gizzie always comes first.
